Mafra

Each year, rural tourism has been gaining force in Mafra. The region houses properties in areas surrounded by native forest, waterfalls and fields ideal for horse riding. The tourist will also find excellent typical German, Polish, Ukrainian, Italian and Bavarian (Bucovina) cuisine, which the immigrants make a point of preserving together with other customs and traditions. Mafra also has a paleontological center with fossils and other findings which help to explain what the Southern region of Brazil was 300 million years ago.
