São Bento do Sul

Colonized by German, Austrian, Czech and Polish immigrants, São Bento do Sul cultivates its traditions in several typical festivals and trades such as cabinetmaking (the municipality is the largest furniture exporter in Brazil). A region rich in natural beauties, it also stands out as an ecotouristic destination. The Estrada Dona Francisca is an attraction worth visiting.
